I think the menu remains because Ecobee intends to force this on their user base. Otherwise they would have provided an "off" switch. So far there's no indication of set point adjustments. I'm also irritated that the "Cool Differential Temp" threshold setting has been removed. I suspect that happened when eco+ was enabled, but am not 100% sure..
